Modisane's body was found in a Johannesburg B&B on New Year’s Eve.

Eyewitness News reporter Ayanda Nyathi was in court.

It was a brief second appearance. Initially, the case was postponed because they needed to verify his address. Today the opening remarks made by the state prosecutor says the address is verified however it is actually where the aunt lives and Pitch Black Afro has not been there since 2010.

Part of the reason why today was postponed is because they wanted to undertake those investigations.

Nyathi says Ngcobo's mother who was at the court proceedings, has refused to speak to the media.

Several attempts were made before and after court proceedings. She did not want to say anything or give her name.

Nyathi says a civil organisation group Vukani Mzansi insists Ngcobo is guilty.

They quite are resolute that he actually did commit the crime.
