Timol's nephew wants judicial inquiry into lack of apartheid-era prosecutions
The nephew of Ahmed Timo has approached the presidency to find out why the National Prosecuting Authority has failed to investigate and prosecute apartheid- era police officers who were not granted amnesty at the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
Imtiaz Cajee wants President Cyril Ramaphosa to open a judicial commission of inquiry.
He says there has been no movement in nearly 300 cases.
