President Mnangagwa flies in hired Dreamliner while Zimbabwe in total shut down

Internet providers in Zimbabwe sent out messages notifying their customers that the government has instructed them to shut down all internet connections in the country.

This follows protests that shut down two major cities in the country on Monday.

Zimbabweans took to the streets on Monday after the government hiked petrol prices.

Senator David Coltart says President Emmerson Mnangagwa is still not in the country. He will be attending the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Well, he is still flying around in his 787 Dreamliner that they have hired, only God knows at what price.

But when he gets to Davos, the story will be the cutting off of the internet. This is a president who says he is open for business but yet he shuts the internet off.

Coltart says Zimbabwe is on a total shutdown at the moment and there is nothing in operation.

Yesterday was quieter than a Sunday. Even government departments were shut.
