National Chairperson of the EFF, Advocate Dali Mpofu tells Bongani the presser's agenda included the party's readiness for the upcoming elections.

We dealt with our manifesto which has now being finalised and will be released on 1 February.

The presser, says Mpofu, also dealt with African National Congress (ANC) corruption particularly Angelo Agrizzi's testimony at the Zondo Commission of inquiry into state capture.

He feels strongly about the backlash he says President Cyril Ramaphosa faced from opposition parties last year after making contradictory statements about payments made by Bosasa to his son, Andile, and his presidential campaign.

The involvement of president Ramaphosa and Bosasa, as you know he himself, effectively under oath, gave us various versions and those versions seem to be untrue. So we believe that the country is owed an explanation by the president.

Mpofu says Ramaphosa should come clean before Sona.
