Ramaphosa received a donation of R500 000 from the embattled company and initially made conflicting statements about the intended use of the funds.

Former Bosasa COO, Angelo Agrizzi has been exposing government officials who apparently received bribes from the company, while testifying at the state capture inquiry.

Political analyst Mcebisi Ndletyana says South Africans have legitimate reasons to be concerned after the recent revelations about the scandal-plagued government contractor.

Knowing what we know about Bosasa, we deserve some answers.

The EFF has threatened to disrupt the state of the nation address (Sona) if Ramaphosa doesn't account before the end of January.

Ndletyana says it's expected for opposition parties to use this controversy as political capital ahead of the elections.

Meanwhile, Ramaphosa is on a state visit to India where he was officially welcomed at the Presidential Palace on Friday.
