How to make money and do good with your investments

Sustainable and responsible investing is a strategy of targeting returns and things such as the environment and a positive impact on society.

These investments may focus on, for example, renewable energy and infrastructure.

Conversely, socially responsible investors may also specifically avoid certain businesses that are, for example, involved in alcohol, tobacco, weaponry, fossil fuels, etc.

The Money Show's Bruce Whitfield interviewed Old Mutual Investment Group CEO Diane Radley for his weekly "Make Money Mondays" feature.

Renewable energy is a very good example. Clearly this will be a long-term investment. Infrastructure is another example. Our “IDEAS Fund” is predominantly invested in renewable energy and economic infrastructure such as roads and railways.
