[VIDEO] Social media slams ANC campaign video for exploiting female sexuality
The ANC tells us to watch "Rethabile Lethoko, a South African model and entrepreneur discuss how she uses her skills and influence to #GrowSouthAfrica."
Twitter and Facebook users have called the video "beyond ridiculous" with many saying they feel like they are watching a skin care advert.
One tweet amusingly said "Is this a skincare ad?? Will I be pretty and thin if I vote ANC?"

The ANC's Head of Elections Fikile Mbalula defended the campaign. At a briefing earlier on Tuesday where he addressed concerns on the party’s social media campaign video that features the model.
He says there is nothing wrong with the video.
“I think the issue of patriarchy, it’s actually in the mindset of perverts and basically those who define women as sexual symbols," he said.
