EFF: 'All roads lead to Soshanguve Giant Stadium' for election manifesto launch

The election season is in full swing and different political parties are drumming up support from South African voters.

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) will get its turn to show South Africans what it will offer the country if it wins the elections by launching its election manifesto at the Giant Stadium in Soshanguve on Saturday.

READ: 'It’s a win for the EFF'

Deputy secretary-general of the EFF Central Command, Hlengiwe Mkhaliphi says "all roads lead to Soshanguve on Saturday" where Julius Malema will deliver the manifesto to the people.

This manifesto was not collected during office hours, as the leadership of the EFF didn't sit down and create the manifesto. But we went out and met with different stakeholders and different sectors and communities and collected their issues.

Hlengiwe Mkhaliphi, Deputy secretary-general - EFF Central Command

Therefore, this manifesto emanates from the people. We invite everyone to come to Soshanguve to listen to the commander in chief in detail.

Hlengiwe Mkhaliphi, Deputy secretary-general - EFF central command

She adds that the party's manifesto has seven non-negotiable pillars which guide the EFF when it formulates its policies.

Pillar number one is land expropriation without compensation. We have kept our promise for this as Parliament has successfully passed the motion to expropriate land without compensation and received support from the African National Congress (ANC).

Hlengiwe Mkhaliphi, Deputy secretary-general - EFF central command

Mkhaliphi adds that there other bills that it has introduced in Parliament including the Bank Act and the Insourcing Bill.

She says EFF invites everyone in the country to come and join it in order to gain economic freedom.
