As the world observes World Cancer Day, how easy is it to access treatment in the public sector?

Xolani Gwala spoke to Salome Meyer from Cancer Alliance about how South Africa is handling cancer treatment in the public sector.

This year's cancer day marks the launch of the ‘I AM and I WILL’ campaign.

We often need to ask the question which of the older medicine are available? What is happening with the older medicine?

Many of those medicines are actually not available in our country and due to many issues with the regulations the public sector doesn't have access to cancer treatments and that is a big problem.
