[WATCH] Vegans are having a beef with this Hyundai Superbowl ad
Car manufacturer Hyundai advert about taking the pain out of car shopping caused unhappiness among vegans when they were mocked.
The ad which shows a couple taking an elevator to go car shopping introduces actor Jason Bateman as the witty elevator operator who takes them down past floors of places you really don't want to be.
On the different floors where the lift stops, we see people are having root canal, on jury duty, a floor for those sitting in the middle seat of an airplane...and then the horror, a vegan dinner party!
And vegans were not amused and took to social media to express their hurt feelings.
Hyundai eventually made a statement that it loves vegans and was not trying to offend anyone.
The advert has had 34 million views in less than a week.
