THE ABSA CHAMPAGNE FESTIVAL - The Absa Champagne Festival will be taking place on the 9th of October at Summer Place, 69 Melville Road, Hyde Park.

CITY OF GOLD URBAN ART FESTIVAL - The City of Gold Urban Art Festival 2014 is taking place from this Sunday until Saturday 11 October.

The festival and exhibition opening takes place at the Absa Gallery, 116 Main Street, Upper Ground Floor, Absa Towers North. The exhibition will be open until the end of October.

The Mural Project starts Monday 6 and ends Friday 10 October. Mural sites will be listed on the City of Gold website www.cityofgoldfestival.co.za.

VINYL AND RECORD FAIR - Johannesburg’s very own Vinyl and Record fair is taking place this Sunday in at Katy’s Palace Bar, 6 Desmond Street.

There was a great turnout at the September event which saw lots of record collectors walk away with some great bargains. The dealers have all restocked their supplies so expect some real gems.

Make sure you arrive early so as not to miss out. Please ensure you bring cash to the event as not all dealers have card facilities.

The full bar will be open and lunch will be served upstairs in Katys Palace Bar. Doors open at 10am.
