Hollywood's biggest stars stepped out in their best on Sunday to attend one of the greatest nights of the awards season - The Oscars.
Channel24's entertainment editor Herman Eloff, says the evening at the Dolby Theatre was a huge success, despite having to make do without a host.
In fact, Eloff claims the night was better than last year's awards, adding that the production was entertaining and the ceremony flowed with ease.

Eloff picked out a few highlights, including actress Olivia Colman's accpetance speech, film director Spike Lee's first win and the three wins by Black Panther.
