Netflix UK streams different Notebook ending and angers fans

Fans of the movie The Notebook agree that the ending of the Nicholas Sparks novel's screen adaptation is a real tear-jerker.

But Netflix UK showed a different version of a shot of birds flying over a lake. This scene is also in the original but it's shown in a different order from the original.
