Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane said at a press conference on Thursday that there are over 50 state institutions who have ignored her remedial action.
She cited Finance Minister Tito Mboweni, President Cyril Ramaphosa and Police Minister Bheki Cele as among those who have disregarded her directives.
COO in the Office of the Public Protector, Basani Baloyi spoke to Bongani Bingwa.
She agrees if state institutions ignore remedial action directives from Mkhwebane, the office could be rendered insignificant.
