[LISTEN] What to do if a protection order is not adhered to

Roux says he has been involved in quite a few matters where a protection order was not adhered to and this resulted in further abuse.

He says it is unlawful for police to not act in accordance with the court order.

If there is no joy with the station commander then take it up higher, a provincial head of the police, and then for that person to really give proper attention to these issues.

He says unfortunately if there are allegations of corruption by police, there must be evidence.

If it is found that police and other officials have made themselves guilty of corruption then they should be dealt with accordingly.
