Mario Roos is the owner of LighTec, a small lighting and electrical maintenance company with 12 employees.

Roos served a prison sentence between 2008 and 2013 for fraud.

Upon his release, he worked as a “back of a bakkie” assistant at a similar company to the one he now owns.

After four years he founded LighTec.

Although he has some large clients, such as TFG and Truworths, he has limited resources for marketing.

Roos also struggles to secure funding; he’s ploughing back all the profits into the business.

...What we need most is exposure to the value chains into the big corporate retailers that can benefit from our service offering…

Mario Roos, owner - LighTec

The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Roos.
