[WATCH] President Ramaphosa tells Trevor Noah 'we are so, so delighted for you'

Internationally successful comedian Trevor Noah visited home shores and paid a visit to the South African Parliament.

The Presidency described Trevor as 'one of South Africa’s biggest exports, and the president told him 'we've been behind you all the time.

The wind you've been feeling behind you has been us. We've been saying, there's our boy...We are so, so delighted for you.

Trevor said he wants to vote in the upcoming elections and is working out how to register overseas.

Later President Ramaphosa took to his Twitter account and thanked Trevor for the visit.

Thank you Trevor Noah for making time to visit us this afternoon. Your rise to take over the world has been a marvel to watch and I hope you understand just how much we love and support you here at home. Please make sure you vote and I will see you at our investment conference!
