If Eskom cannot pay its debt it will be 'catastrophic' for South Africa, says stresses John, and South Africa will cease to exist as a functional economy.

Eskom needs to make more money out of the electricity it sells because if it does not make more money out of the electricity it sells, it will not be able to pay its debt.
