[VIDEO] Brave Alex man rescues boy during flash flood

A young boy found himself trapped and frightened on a pipe over the raging Jukskei river in Alexandra after a flash flood.

A brave man, since identified as Vincent Cosa, immediately jumped into action. He propelled himself along the pipe towards the boy and convinced him to climb on his back.

Cosa then carefully inched back to dry land with the boy on his back while crowds on the bridge and riverbank cheered him on shouting out 'hero'.

The video below went viral over the weekend.
