I find the most toxic social media platform to be Twitter, opines Eusebius

The advent of social media has ensured that people are plugged in all the time and over stimulated with current affairs.

Show host Eusebius McKaiser poses a question to listeners as to how they deal with the overstimulation of social media?

My relationship with Twitter is changing, I don't know whether yours is as well and blissfully so. I was having this discussion with my therapist and we were talking about just ways to make sure if you are plugged in all the time and maybe that is a nice question to ask you as well.

Eusebius McKaiser, Presenter

How do you ensure your own mental health is taken care off preventatively and how do you deal with being over stimulated in an era where all of us are technologically plugged in all the time?

Eusebius McKaiser, Presenter

And for my job I have to be plugged in, I have to tell you what is coming up, public speaking events that I have to be attending so there is an obvious commercial imperative and a journalistic one as well for those of us in the media to be constantly engaging on Twitter specifically.

Eusebius McKaiser, Presenter

He notes that after reflecting on the different social media platforms, he finds Instagram to be the least toxic.

And I find Facebook the best for really detailed discussion where there is a productive dialogue that you can unravel in a generous way.

Eusebius McKaiser, Presenter

I find the most toxic social media platform to be Twitter. So what I do now is I log on in the morning and catch up with what is happening but by half-past twelve I can tell you I am gone.

Eusebius McKaiser, Presenter

So here is a little note, if you ever want to troll me or even tell me that you would like to have my babies, you have to do it before twelve o'clock because after twelve I am gone.
