Tests prove we’re the best in South Africa, claims both MTN and Vodacom

Every week The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield asks branding and advertising expert Andy Rice to share with him the week’s advertising “heroes” and/or “zeroes”.

This week, Rice critiqued the marketing campaigns of MTN and Vodacom.

He gave them both “zeroes”.

Rice hates what he called “their continuing playground fight over who has the better network, each citing different tests and claiming victory”.

It is, according to Rice, petty and wasteful when most consumers simply want to call and use the internet, without breaking the bank.

I look forward to Rain or someone trumping both of them.
