The Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) says its offline uFiling system should be up and running again from Monday, 1 April.
uFiling for both registration and claims has not been working since February, explains communications director Makhosonke Buthelezi.
This means that unemployed people have struggled to claim for funds or register on the system.

The UIF offers short-term compensation to workers when they become unemployed or are unable to work because of maternity, adoption leave, or illness.
The fund also provides relief to the dependants of a deceased contributor.
Buthelezi explains that upgrades to the system and technical difficulties, which occurred after the UIF's data centre was relocated to new premises, are behind the system failure.
