Influencer marketing refers to the promotion of goods and services by individuals who have influence or power to affect the buying decisions of potential customers.

A company pays an influencer to use its products and to expose them to her or his social media following.

The influencer tries the product out and discusses it with her or his followers on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
