Socialist Revolutionary Workers Party launches its election manifesto

The Socialist Revolutionary Workers Party, founded by Numsa, on Tuesday launched its election manifesto and inaugural congress in Boksburg.

For the next three days, the party will elect its central committee and adopt its manifesto for the 2019 elections.

To discuss the manifesto launch, EWN reporter Nthakoana Ngatane speaks to Ray White on The Xolani Gwala Show.

The presence of the Saftu secretary-general is quite a big one for the Socialist Revolutionary Workers Party but also the president of Numsa has just spoken to say that this party is not another militant ANC wing.

That this is not another alliance of the ANC, that this is a party that is different and that realises that workers in South Africa have never had a good party that is for workers.
