[LISTEN] Is it probable that computers might develop consciousness?
Naked Scientist Chris Smith says with the development of artificial intelligence, it is possible to have a computer with a conscious - a sense of what it is and its own mortality.
Smith explains that you probably could write a computer programme as systems become more artificial intelligent.
He says there is however an an ethical aspect to it.
