Coconut Kelz heading off for some R and R if Alex protesters target Sandton

Lesego Thlabi, in character as Coconut Kelz, discusses hot election topics on the #WeekendBreakfast with Phemelo.

Regarding the ongoing protests in Alexandra, Kelz opted to be absolutely honest, saying she really only cares about the way it affects transport for her domestic helper.

I'm only interested if there's transport for Suzy to come.

The Alex protesters have threatened to shut down Sandton on Monday if Johannesburg mayor Herman Mashaba doesn't come to address them.

Kelz says she'll simply avoid the whole thing and head off for some R and R if the threat is carried out.

I am going to my house in St Francis Bay, maybe the one in Knysna, I'm not sure, but I'm definitely not going to stay here if they're going to burn Sandton down, I just can't deal with it.

Kelz also has strong views on corruption allegations against ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule and the latest dressing down of a journalist by his deputy, Jessie Duarte.

Once again he's part of the same league as Jessie. They all go and they all do corruption or crime and now he says he's not corrupt.
