Proteas announce 2019 Cricket World Cup squad

The South African 2019 Cricket World Cup squad had been announced.

The Proteas 15-man squad for the tournament, which begins on 30 May in Wales and England, will be captained by Faf du Plessis.

Seven of the selected players will be experiencing the world cup for the first time.

Eyewitness News sports reporter Carl Lewis says the general sentiments around the squad is that is it the right squad.
