Land Party threatens country shutdown if King Dalindyebo not released

The Land Party wants AbaThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo released from prison, failing which it threatens to shut down the country.

Dalindyebo is serving an effective 15 years in jail for kidnapping, assault, arson and defeating the ends of justice.

Land Party president Gcobani Ndzongana takes issue with Clement Manyathela on the Xolani Gwala Show for referring to the king as a convicted criminal.

He is a king and as the Land Party we feel that our kings and queens must be immune from the current justice system. let us go and redraft and amend the constitution and criminal justice system.

In African culture there is what we call a reconciliation process , whereby if there are any disagreements, the tribes, villagers or people around the area will meet and resolve the problem.
