'We are the best-run province in South Africa'

With 8 May fast approaching, many political parties are intensifying their electioneering campaigns.

Speaking to Cape Talk's Kieno Kammies on the daily election profile, Democratic Alliance (DA) premier candidate Alan Winde says the party has embarked on an election campaign that focuses on its desire to create more jobs and boost the economy in the Western Cape.

We want to continue with our educational excellence and our health excellence in the province and make the constitutional mandate best in the region.

To do that, we have to fix crime, we have to adjust our rail system and we have to become more resilient as the region.

The message is out there, and we are the best-run province in South Africa, we have the top-run municipalities in South Africa. Where the DA governs, we govern better than the ANC.
