A chance for your talented teen rocker to perform for international labels

The Cape Town branch of the School of Rock music school is offering all South African teenagers the chance to perform for American record label executives as part of Centre Stage, a worldwide artist search.

This is pretty much a world first...for a music school to bring aspiring musicians between the ages of 13 and 19 closer to music execs in America.

The School of Rock operates globally with branches in many countries.

It is the largest community of musicians in the world...we have reached 75 000 students we teach globally each week.

The focus is on vocalists, though playing an instrument is an added bonus...They are also looking for an original song, something completely different.

School of Rock, in partnership with Atlantic Records and Artist Partner Group, has launched an artist search program for standout musicians between the ages of 13-19.

Selected artists will have an opportunity to participate in a recording session, and perform in a live artist showcase with record label executives in Los Angeles. Additionally, we will be providing 100 applicants with School of Rock songwriting camp scholarships.
