I will be asking difficult questions in Parliament - De Lille

Despite being founded only four months ago, the Good Party has made it onto the list of parties that will make up South Africa's sixth Parliament.

The party secured two seats in the national legislature.

Its leader, Patricia de Lille says the national executive committee will be meeting this week to discuss a way forward.

She says she is very grateful for the seats secured.

The party has decided that I go to the national legislature because this was provincial and national elections. Our whole country is in a state and most of the problems that we experience are the same in all nine provinces.

De Lille says the party aims to address the issue of the apartheid spatial planning.

I will be driving a campaign to make sure that all three spheres of government release that well-located land for affordable housing and to bring people a bit closer.

De Lille is no stranger to Parliament and says she is looking forward to joining the debates and helping fix the country.

If some of the old parties are hoping to use the same old business plan and hoping to achieve different results that certainly cannot be business as usual.
