ANC spokesperson Dakota Legoete says they have made sure to cover all the guidelines.
What we have agreed is that in a province were we have a male premier, six of the member of the executive council need to be women. Ultimately we have agreed that, in all our provinces, our candidates for speakers positins are going to be women because we do not want to tamper much with the proposals as made by provinces.— Dakota Legoete, Acting national spokesperson - ANC
Legoete says a premier candidate in the North-West will be announced in due course following internal engagement.
