Eyewitness News reporter Gaye Davis explains what the itinerary for the new MPs will be in the first week.

Government has announced it would cut R100m in costs for the presidential inauguration ceremony at Loftus Stadium in Pretoria.

Members of Parliament be will sworn in next Wednesday. After that, they’ll vote for the president.

The president will be sworn in the following Saturday.

Eyewitness News reporter Gaye Davis explains what the itinerary for the new MPs will be in the first week.

We have lost some chairs of some powerful committees, such as Yunus Carrim.
