Today marks International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, which commemorates the decision to remove homosexuality from the International Classification of Diseases by the World Health Organisation.

According to Norton Rose Fulbright PRIDE chairperson Ross Forgan, South Africa lacks sufficient benchmarks and policies that encourage individuals to be themselves and not have to create dual personalities for their work and personal lives.
