A video of a young man kicking actor and former US governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in the back on Saturday has gone viral.
The incident occurred at the Arnold Classic Africa, a sports festival in Sandton, Johannesburg while he was filming a Snapchat video.
In the video, Schwarzenegger can be seen being knocked forward.
A security guard then tackles the man to the ground.
The Terminator star has said he did not even feel the kick and has asked the public to rather share the blurred version of the video so as not to give the young man the fame he craves.
And if you have to share the video (I get it), pick a blurry one without whatever he was yelling so he doesn’t get the spotlight.— Arnold (@Schwarzenegger) May 18, 2019

The organisers of the event believe that incident have described the young man as a 'crazed fan' who carefully planned the incident and is believed to have done similar stunts in the past.
Schwarzenegger has said he will not press charges. He tweeted: A lot of you have asked, but I’m not pressing charges. I hope this was a wake-up call, and he gets his life on the right track. But I’m moving on and I’d rather focus on the thousands of great athletes I met at the Arnold Sports Festival Africa.
