Formula One legend Niki Lauda has died.
Lauda won Formula One titles with Ferrari and McLaren in 1975, 1977 and 1984, with two of the wins coming after a crash that almost cost him his life.
Last year Lauda underwent a lung transplant and was admitted earlier this year with influenza.
Speaking to Ray White, motoring journalist Hendrik Verwoed says this is a great loss for the motoring fraternity.
