Deputy President David Mabuza has requested that his swearing-in as a Member of Parliament be postponed.
Mabuza will not be sworn in with the rest of the Members of Parliament today.
African National Congress (ANC) President Cyril Ramaphosa in a statement says Mabuza made this request in light of an integrity commission report.
The deputy president is alleged to have prejudiced the integrity of the governing party.
EWN reports that new ANC chief whip Pemmy Majodina has stated this is only a postponement and not a final decision.
