'There is a growing number of atheists and agnostics around the world'

Researchers from the Global Understanding Unbelief programme have released their latest findings on the understanding of atheism and nonreligion.

Researchers asked unbelievers about attitudes to issues such as supernatural phenomena, including life after death and astrology, whether the universe is ultimately meaningless and what values matter most to them.

John Maytham spoke to Institute of Cognition & Culture assistant director Dr Jonathan Lanman about the study.
