A campaign is underway, spearheaded by the District Six Museum, to change Zonnebloem in Cape Town back to District Six.
The name Zonnebloem was introduced during apartheid when the Group Areas Act declared the area whites-only and forcibly removed over 60 000 residents.
District Six Museum director Bonita Bennett says re-instating the name District Six would be a step towards healing the pain of the past.
