Mohamed Mwela is accused of stabbing and killing Daniel Bakwela and wounding two others during a fight outside the school last week.

To discuss the case, Nickolaus Bauer on the Xolani Gwala Show spoke to Eyewitness News reporter Robinson Nqola.

The community is unhappy with the decision by the magistrate to grant the 19-year-old murder suspect bail of R5000. The community says it is going to mobilise itself and march to ensure that the court's decision is not left unchallenged.

Mwela in his affidavit asked the court to grant him bail so that he can go and write his exams.

He also asked the court to grant him R500 bail because he is dependent on his parents. The court, however, felt that the fact that he appointed a private lawyer instead of a state lawyer meant that he had means through which he can source those funds.
