The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Ronak Gopaldas, Director and Africa analyst at Signal Risk.

Gopaldas discussed several business stories that are making headlines in Africa this week.

In Botswana, there is the ongoing fallout between former president Ian Khama and his chosen successor President Mokgweetsi Masisi, who took office last year.

Khama accuses Masisi of becoming an autocrat and threatening his country’s reputation as a stable African democracy.

Gopaldas also touched on the following topics:

  • Sudan - what is going on?

  • Zambia - why is there interference in the mining sector?

  • Malawi - reflections on the election
