Bathabile Dlamini says she felt betrayed by colleagues - report

Former social development minister Bathabile Dlamini has compared her feelings during the South Africa Social Security Agency (Sassa) saga to being undressed and raped.

Dlamini sat down in an exclusive interview with Eyewitness News and opened up about her time as social development minister.

The former minister was accused of failing to ensure that Sassa was fully equipped to administer social grants when a contract with Cash Paymaster Services was due to expire.

In the clip, Dlamini can be heard talking about the ordeal.

You went through court for a long time and then again you go to the Constitutional Court, and then you go to another extension of the court and then the integrity commission. Five areas. No one has ever faced that in the country.
