Government has plans in place to create jobs - Jackson Mthembu
President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced that 2-million jobs will be created for the youth in the next decade.
During the State of the Nation Address, Ramaphosa said the government will expand the scale of its foremost youth employment programmes in response to one of South Africa’s most stubborn economic challenges: youth unemployment.
Speaking to Clement Manyathela on the Xolani Gwala Show, Minister in the Presidency Jackson Mthembu says the government has plans in place to achieve this.

The plan is to ensure that within the next decade we reduce, in a very pragmatic way, levels of unemployment in our country informed by the NDP.

If we were to reduce unemployment levels to 6% and get all 6-million of our youth employed through our public-private growth initiative with the private sector, already there are projects that that are bankable.
