To discuss the conference, Ray White on the Xolani Gwala Show chats to union spokesperson Khaya Xaba.

We were not entirely happy with the state of the nation address, and we felt that it didn't address contemporary issues that are urgent at this current moment. There are retrenchments everywhere, and the loss of jobs has a trickling effect on many people.

Khaya Xaba, Spokesperson - Nahawu

He says the union is happy with Ramaphosa's announcement of the implementation of the National Health Insurance (NHI).

We are happy that he spoke on the urgent implementation of the NHI as we have been advocating it for the past 20 years.
