A UK woman tweeted a photo of a condolence card handed in by her colleague as his resignation letter and it has people laughing.

The cover of the card reads 'So sorry for your loss' and the inside adds 'Thinking of you at this difficult time.' The employee added in handwriting 'My last day at work is the 28th July.'

The tweet clearly tickled people's funny bones and has been liked 455k times and retweeted 75k times.
