Jason Rohde granted leave to appeal conviction and sentence

Convicted wife killer Jason Rohde has been granted leave to appeal his conviction and sentence for the murder of his wife Susan.

Rohde was handed a 20-year sentence in February this year.

The real estate executive was found guilty of killing Susan Rohde at the Spier Wine farm during a work function in July 2016.

Rohde's lawyer Tony Mostert says they will now have to process the actual appeal.

Next step is to process the appeal but in the meantime I will be moving an urgent application for his bail.
