If it is your boss or reporting line, the best strategy is not to be responsive as you may be. Be highly respectful, remain professional at all times and make a record of what those experiences are.

Klatzko says do not confront the people without a proper strategy.

They are very good strategists. You would be foolish to think they are not going to build a strategy and alliances.
