There are just two weeks to go until one of the biggest movie releases of the year – the new live-action adaptation of The Lion King. The film opens in cinemas on Friday 19 July, about 25 years after the original animated musical delighted fans around the world.
South African composer and producer Lebo M worked on the score of the original film alongside Tim Rice and Elton John and has contributed to subsequent stage adaptions.
He joined Pippa Hudson to discuss the success of the movie and the forthcoming 2019 American musical drama film directed and produced by Jon Favreau. Check out the full interview below:
