[VIDEO] Tears of joy on social media after Bafana Bafana victory

Bafana Bafana's surprise 1-0 victory over Egypt means the team are through to the quarterfinals of the Africa Cup of Nations.

In fact, the late goal from Thembinkosi Lorch has knocked the host country, and favourites, out of the tournament.

As congratulations streamed in from all quarters on social media, one fan was so overcome that she broke down.

The woman's sister had to explain that she was crying because she was so excited.
