Pick your child's school or we'll pick it for you, says WC education department

Tens of thousands of parents in the Western Cape have yet to confirm their child's school place for the 2020 academic year.

At the moment we're sitting with 85,000 (applications) where the parents have still not yet confirmed their place.

It means there could be places available, which we don't yet know about, for other people who are desperately waiting for a place.

Parents have until Thursday July 12 to make their final choice.

If they haven't done it by then we will make the choice for them.
